‘IRIS surgió como respuesta a nuestras propias necesidades. Como desarrolladores de productos, tenemos muchos clientes en el extranjero. Queríamos aprovechar nuestro tiempo de manera más eficiente, por lo que recurrimos a un programa de conferencia web con una webcam integrada.. Sin embargo, echábamos en falta la sensación de un contacto real.

Nos faltaba el contacto visual, ya que con una webcam el contacto visual no era directo. Aún no existía ningún producto bueno que permitiera el contacto visual online. Resultaban demasiado caros y el interlocutor siempre necesitaba disponer de un equipo especial. Y, claro está, nosotros no podíamos pedirles eso a nuestros clientes. Ahora tenemos la posibilidad de llegar a más clientes y nuestros gastos en viajes han disminuido considerablemente desde la introducción, junto al dispositivo IRIS, de un programa de uso compartido de escritorio que hemos desarrollado nosotros mismos. IRIS también es una herramienta indispensable para las labores de postventa. ‘

Reaction from the jury after winning the "Product Innovation Award 'from the Channel Xcellence Awards.

Interestingly, the participation of iris2iris.
