IRIS works very well without accessories. However not all web conferencing / video chat programs support Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC). Thats why this IRIS (IRIS-EQ5-MAC-AE) has integrated anti echo technology. This makes sure that you don't hear an echo in your voice when you are talking.
