I. IRIS is the best desktop alternative for video conferencing
Video conferencing and tele-presence is expensive. Moreover cheaper desktop applications do not exist. IRIS is the flexible and cheaper alternative. IRIS fits perfectly on every desk and can also be used as a second monitor. With IRIS you have eye contact which makes it seem as if you really are sitting at the same table. There are a number of alternatives to IRIS, the Eye Catcher for instance. There is however one big difference. In all the alternatives the receiver must also have similar equipment and you cannot use them in combination with web conference or video-chat programs. V. IRIS even works if the others do not have IRIS
It is not necessary for the 'receiver' to have an IRIS because it can be used in combination with all web conference and video chat programs. If you use an IRIS, the others will have eye contact. That makes the IRIS very suitable for remote sales and consultancy.
