‘IRIS came about from our own needs. As product developers we have many customers abroad. We wanted to spend our time more efficiently and this led to a web conference program with webcam integration. Nevertheless, we still missed the feeling of having real contact.

We missed the eye contact; it came down to that because you always look past each other with a webcam. There were no good products to affect online eye contact on the market yet. They were too expensive and the receiver always needed special equipment. We of course could not demand this from our customers. As product developers we developed a tool ourselves, the IRIS.

We have acquired demonstrably more prospects and our travel costs have decreased considerably since the introduction of a desktop sharing program with the IRIS which we developed. The IRIS is also an indispensable tool for after sales. ‘
