An example: You meet weekly at a location which is 100 km away. This amounts to travel costs for 200 km per person per week and two hours travelling time. If we use a kilometre price of 0.29 Euro cents and a hourly tariff of 100 Euro, the travel costs amount to 258 Euros per week. The cost of IRIS is recovered completely after 7 meetings.*

Another example; but now with an airplane: Every month you fly 600 km to a meeting. With 9 hours of travelling time (at 100 Euros) and a ticket price of 400 Euros, the cost is 1,300 Euros. The cost of IRIS will be recovered during the second meeting.*

Besides IRIS can be used for conversations that were previously held over the telephone because it stands on the desk. A short explanation, a discussion with a colleague who is not often in the office, demonstrating a product that is not good: if you look one another in the eye, conversations are just that little bit easier and misunderstandings can be avoided.
